La revue Motifs, fondée par l’Équipe d’Accueil 4249 « Héritages et Constructions dans le Texte l’Image » est une scientifique pluridisciplinaire domaine des arts, lettres langues. À l’image de l’équipe recherche qui la porte, elle publie travaux principalement en langues française anglaise, portant sur les linguistique, littérature civilisation aires francophone, anglophone, hispanophone germanophone ; à l’occasion, éclaire confrontation avec productions civilisations issues d’autres linguistiques historiquement ou géographiquement plus lointaines, hellénique, latine orientales notamment.
